Learning Links/Families attended a Love Bomb session this weekend at Pizza Hut in Port Solent. We had families from one of our NVR (Non Violent Resistance) therapy attend and it was warmly received from all involved. Children and parents worked together to make their own pizzas and learn about the best types of combinations and the importance of hand washing before touching food. Both the parents and the children interacted with each other and the couple of hours we had together was well spent. Delicious ice cream was also served afterwards with a wide variety of different toppings and sauces included. With a free all-you-can-eat salad bar, refillable drinks and conversations between all families involved meant that the day went better than we could have anticipated.
Non Violent Resistance is a technique used to help improve communication between parent and child by using tools to help reduce aggression and violence. The workshops we deliver have helped many parents and it has received a great deal of positive feedback from many involved.
