Learning Links, Isle of Wight hosted a coffee morning as a part of Celebrating Age Festival.
Our 50+ Employment Support Programme on the Isle of Wight had quite a turnout. We had a fair few come through our doors including old, new and potential customers. Despite marketing the event prior to the coffee morning, we decided it would be fun to step out onto the streets and hand out flyers to members of the public.
We had two lovely ladies named Anita and Helen show up from the British Heart Foundation and Age UK to offer their support and chat with some of our customers. We were delighted to hear the news that our previous customers are all in employment, congratulations, and well done!
We took the opportunity to  promote information about the services Learning Links has to offer including our Solent project and our 50+ Support Programme (click here) it went down a treat. It was an informal morning of cake and conversation.
We would also like to thank Julie, a valued volunteer for helping us make this coffee morning worthwhile.
You can see by the photo above how much fun we were all having. Thanks everyone for coming and we are looking forward to getting to know some of you in the near future!
