Job Description

As part of the Ageing Better project team, you will support the Project coordinator to provide a customer journey that delivers the very best experience, ensuring the process maximises a rise in employment of those aged 50+ currently unemployed into sustainable employment, a rise in the 50+ employed and at risk of redundancy/early retirement retained in employment and a rise in the 50+ looking for career change progressed into sustainable new employment. This involves a thorough understanding of both theoretical and practical aspects of delivering a high quality training programme which are also representative of our organisational Values – Empower, Respect, Integrity and Knowledge.

Job Activities

  • Ensure the administrative needs of the contract and organisation are met, through effective communication and efficient service provision.
  • In collaboration with project coordinator establish and maintain office systems and procedures to high levels of quality, effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Maintain up to date paper based and electronic filing systems and ensure that all records accurate, secure and compliant with Learning Links and contractual policies and procedures.
  • Delivery of employment related training sessions within the IOW office.
  • Support in delivering training to Learning Link’s customers
  • Delivery of IAG

Other Essential Qualities

    • Experience gained from previous and/or customer service based environment.
    • Excellent communication skills- on the phone face to face and written.
    • The ability to be assertive when required.
    • Strong relationship building skills.
    • Personal organisation skills- ability to work to tight deadlines whilst being fully compliant to process.
    • High attention to detail.
  • Strong IT, literacy specific experience of MS Office packages.
  • High level of numeracy and literacy and experience.
  • Experience of preparation and delivery of employment related training courses.
